That’s not just the pressure talking—you want to look great, too! Whether you’re the bride or groom, there are some considerations to keep in mind when dressing for your wedding day that will help make it a stylish one you won’t forget anytime soon.

The wedding dress

Trends for bride and groom fashion are changing. While traditionally, the bride would wear white and the groom would wear a dark suit, there are many other options available to you this year.

The following is a list of some different trends for wedding dress for bride and groom fashion.

1. Monochromatic- This trend consists of a colour scheme that goes from light to dark with one colour present in all the clothing pieces. 2. Two Colours- Here, brides can choose to have their whole wedding in two colours or they can alternate which colours they are wearing throughout the day. 3. Black and White- One trend is to have everything black and white or have an outfit entirely made up of black or white clothes without any variation in shades within these colours. 4. Bright Colours- This style includes bright hues like yellows, pinks, purples, oranges and blues as well as other pastels when dressing your wedding party. For example, a pale pink or lavender gown would be perfect for the bride.

A lighter coloured suit may work better for the groom so he doesn’t blend into the background. Darker tones may be more appropriate if you’re having an evening wedding reception or cocktail hour.

Mixed Fabrics- Another style is mixed fabric dresses that can range from lace to chiffon and tulle to satin. You could go with a mixture of fabrics such as lace on top and tulle at the bottom or combine multiple fabrics at once.

Wedding shoes

Wedding shoes

Matching wedding shoes is a tradition that has been around for many generations. It started out as a way to show unity between the two people getting married, but has also grown into an opportunity for the bride and groom to coordinate their outfits. The most popular colours are black, white, red, silver, gold and ivory. Bride can also try a lace or satin shoe with intricate detailing on it while the groom should wear a more simple lace up shoe in brown, grey or navy blue. There are so many options when it comes to finding matching wedding shoes! Choose one of the traditional colours listed above. You may want to go shopping together before your big day so you know what you both like and make sure they fit each other well!

Groom wedding shoes need to be comfortable enough for long walks down the aisle; bride needs something stylish and formal enough to last through a night of dancing.

Hair styles

Hair style is an important part of the bridal look. It should be elegant, romantic, and stylish to match the wedding theme. Here are some hair styles for brides on wedding:

– Bouffant up-do – This retro hairstyle is one of the most popular for weddings. It has a high bun with smooth curls at the back of the head. This style will work best on thick hair that can hold a bouffant well. On thinner hair, you may want to add a few face-framing waves or opt for something more low key.

– Dutch braid – A Dutch braid is the perfect way to keep your long locks out of your face while still looking chic and sophisticated.

– Messy up do – If you don’t have time or patience to deal with your locks in any other way, opt for this simple style instead. Keep it messy by using fingers to put small sections of hair around the top layer. Finish by adding a hairspray to avoid flyaway strands.- Braided ponytail – Pair this timeless style with a modern twist. Add a fresh pop of colour to your luscious locks by tying them into a sleek, braided ponytail. Pull out pieces of the front layers to frame your face and finish off the look with light wispy bangs.-

Half-up do – The half-up do is such a classic style that never fails to make heads turn. Use large barrel curlers for your hair. Before twisting them into place at the top of your head so they resemble a crown shape. Short Hairstyles for Grooms: The short haircut is always fashionable and goes great with a tuxedo. Consider different variations like tapered cuts, fades, crewcuts, buzz cuts and more!

– Medium Length Hairstyles for Grooms. Medium length hairstyles give you lots of styling options from slicked back hair to loose waves. When wearing formal wear try slicking down your sides as it’s a popular choice among men these days.

Accessories

To ensure that your special day has a style that is uniquely you, there are many accessories to choose from. For the bride, think about incorporating jewellery with personal meaning, a veil of her choice and more. For the groom, consider adding cufflinks or a tie clip to really stand out in your wedding photos. Make sure these items are fashionable and don’t clash with the rest of your attire.
